Archer Vx1800v anyEthernet backhaul easymesh plans?

Is there any plans to add Ethernet backhaul easymesh option to vx1800v modem/router? Currently it has only wireless option. I want to add another router as satellite to vx1800v via Ethernet. If there is no plans, I'm gonna need to purchase some other options. Almost all routers got this options, I think it shouldn't be too hard to add this feature to the modem/router. Thanks in advance.

I purchased AX55 pro, updated the firmware of Vx1800x and the router. Factory reset the Ax55 pro. Easymesh setup fails each time. Can not find the router wired or wireless. TP-link software is a mess.
V1_240925 Doesn't exist on website but vx finds it on the system automatically. But didn't work for me unfortunately.

Sorry to hear you have not had success with the AX55. My setup is with an AX53 v1. However as per TP-Link the AX55 is Ethernet backhaul compatible.
How I set my network up was to setup the VX1800v then power up the AX53 until the LED's are on then connect an Ethernet cable from the VX1800v LAN port to the AX53 WAN port and the AX53 automatically detected the connection rebooted and configured to Easymesh. Once that was completed I logged in to the VX1800v web UI went to the Easymesh section where it showed the two routers were connected by Ethernet.
My VX1800v is running firmware 240925 which I downloaded from my regions support website and installed manually via the web UI. Maybe this firmware enables the auto connection but I cannot confirm this.
I hope you have some success troubleshooting your setup.

I'll try again when I'm home, maybe next week. Thanks a lot for your messages..
meanwhile current setup is setting ax55 pro as AP, but SSID is different than vx1800v. There are some clients were using that SSID and I didn't have time, so I set the old SSID.
What I don't understand is what happens if both SSID's are set same? In this case switching between routers becomes seamless? I don't have much knowledge about network, just discovering slowly.
thanks again, for your past replies.
regards.

That would be a great addition! Ethernet backhaul makes mesh networks much more stable. Hopefully, TP-Link considers adding it in a future update best nespresso coffee pods, many users would benefit from the option.
