Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.5.5

Some ISPs require only a service name in PPPoE while access contractor name is set to auto or not required. The Deco app allows service name while setting up a new deco but the access contractor name is optional. However this doesnt work as in reality the app / config requires access contractor to be mandatory. Some ISPs don't have an AC name. Please fix this issue where just with service name pppoe dials correctly. It seems this is a bug as the setup screen has that as optional (yet it doesnt work cause internally it seems to require it) and the pppoe option within the app after deco is set doesnt allow it to be optional. My pppoe connection works on any other router where service name is entered and access contractor is set to auto or ignored.

Hi  @Deco_Request,

Generally speaking, the PPPOE configuration requires username and password. If the ISP confirms that it is not necessary, please try to enter your account name and password, or fill in admin for both. You can also try Dynamic IP instead of PPPOE. If there is still no network, it is recommended that you confirm the connection type and configuration information with the ISP again.
