Hello.

I have been using an AP mode X-50 POE mesh net for quite a few months. Lately I added another X-50 POE device to enlarge the wifi zone.

There my issues started.

The device was succesfully installed, but since then I have these problems:

 

The device results correctly installed, if I check using the web interface

But if I check using the app, that's what I get

3 devices result offline and the only one working "properly" is the last one, but withan absurd name.

 

I asked for tech support and they suggested me to update to the latest beta firmware (1.4.7, indeed)

I did, but I couldn't update the main device (the updated is loaded into it, but does not install).

 

 

The WIFI is working, but I'd love to be able to use the app to monitor the network.

 

Now the tech support is basically ignoring my updates...

 

Can anyone give me a clue?

 

I already tried to remove and reinstall the latest device.

What does happen when you remove the latest device: do you get Deco app working again?

 

Also, do any of Satellite Deco use Ethernet backhaul, or are they all connect wirelessly to Main Deco?

 

Finally, TP-Link just released 1.4.7 final (not beta). If you manage to get Deco app work again after removing the latest X50-PoE device, try Update Deco from Deco app and you may be able to update Main Deco that way.

  @Alexandre. I managed to solve.

Network removed, main device updated, each and every device readded. 

 

All is fine.
