Phenomenon Description.
Recently, there was feedback that after updating to 1.8.0 Build 20241202, certain devices can't access Netflix, YouTube, MS Teams, or other Google services. While other devices seem to be ok on the same WiFi.
Possible Solutions:
The root cause still requires further confirmation at this time. We will keep the community updated once there is any improvement.
In the meantime, our engineer has provided a bridge firmware that allows for a downgrade from version 1.8.0 to the official version 1.6.4 without a factory reset so the original network configurations will not be messed up.

@David-TP Thanks, it made Netflix work again. However, when will we have an updated firmware that 'includes' the ability to stream Netflix?

Hi,
Same problem here in Finland and the suggested fix worked.
Waited about two weeks before started to search what could be causing the problem.
The Netflix did not work but other streaming services eg HBO/Disney+ worked just fine. Also the Apple iphone app store app updates did not work.
This thread was a bit hard to find.
Everything started working already with the Beta firmware but upgraded (or downgraded) to the official 1.6.4

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.
Now, there is a new beta which is based on the official 1.8.0, and fixes the reported issue according to some users.
It has been sent via message and please help me test how it works.
Best regards.

@David-TP Can I have the beta firmware? Why is it not here?

the firmware that was pulled back on M9 was giving me a lot faster bandwidth compared to the previous firmware or the beta reverse version.
I hope TP Link figures out the issue with 1.8.0 sooner than later and have a updated and tested firmware ready.
