Model: Archer BE805
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20241025 rel.65140(4A50)

Hi, I am using Archer BE805.
Everything goes well normally. Sometimes when I turn of my desktop PC (Connected with cat7-cable to 10gb port), the router LED indicator turn red which mean it is not working.
It only happens when I turn off my desktop PC. If I don't turn off my desktop PC, nothing will happen.
The router will work like normal if I manually switch the power off and on. Then the green LED indicator will show up.

I am using Asus Maximus Code XI, with PCIE Lan card Intel X540-T2. I search up in the internet and try to fix the problem.
I have looked into battery setting, BIOS s4/s5 setting, WoL setting, lan card firmware etc. It still not fixing it.
What could be the problem?

Hi, welcome to our community.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Check the CAT7 Cable and try different ports on the router. BTW, which port are you using for your desktop PC?

2. Check the router settings and disable QoS settings for a try.

3. Ensure the router is receiving  stable power supply.

4. Temporarily disconnect other devices from the network to see if the problem persists when only your desktop is connected.

5. Contact local technical support for direct help or you ask some possible suggestions from the support of your desktop PC.

Thank you and best regards.

Hi, there is only one 10gb port on BE805. Since I am using a 10gb ISP internet plan, I'm using it.

On the computer, I plug in my RJ45 in my Lan card(X540-T2) slot 1.

I'm pretty sure the power supply is very stable.

I will check the QoS setting later.

Thank you for the chips
