Hi, when is the official release day for M5_1.8.5. I assume my M5s will auto update on that day? Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the community. I think the 1.8.5 might still need some time. If the Auto upgrade is enabled, your Deco should be automatically updated to the latest version.

Best regards.

Fantastic. So now you're joining chat control.

How about improving the firmware and the app instead.

  @David-TP The Deco M5 now offers advanced parental controls, including content filtering, time limits, and device monitoring. It also provides enhanced security features like blocking malicious sites and tracking usage reports.

Thanks for continuing update this device. Please add WPA3 this update or next update.No update database option & service provider Logo name at security option. Even when I enable Client Identification option I'm facing attack from my internal router network private IP address (TCP CVE-2002-0013) at showing HOME Care).*IP 200 my satellite unit & others IP my devices.

Please add CPU & RAM info option if possible. Because I feel laggy or maybe heavy firmware for DECO M5(3.20). Please make more device optimized firmware I mean to say lite firmware. Sorry for my bad English 🥺 . Thanks in advance 🙂

  @David-TP Unfortunately there is another false positive' attack (SSDP Broadcast) when I use a simple script which scan a paper document using my network scanner (Brother) and convert it using OCR to ODT.

I tried to open a ticket within submitting the log but nothing happened except I returnded to the article I read before to select "no" when asking if it helped me to solve my issue.

Screen reader accessibility is bad and it looks TP-Link does not make any difference in it consideration to accessibility user. A checkbox not reckognised as it should, I cannot know if it is checked or not and when I submit my issue nothing happens, I don't see how issues with this beta firmware can be solved if I cannot report them and if the other solution is to use TeamViewer which is also not accessible on Linux and where, on Windows, the chat cannot be used.

  @Abedur

Hi, Nice to see you again.

There hasn't been a plan to add WPA3 to Deco M5 yet. If that ever changes later, I'll keep the community updated.

I'm quite curious about "the Threats blocked" here,

Even when I enable Client Identification option, I'm facing an attack from my internal router network private IP address (TCP CVE-2002-0013) at showing HOME Care).*IP 200 my satellite unit & others IP my devices.

If it is still happening now, could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log?

How to submit Deco APP log

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP When the script search for my network scanner, I have CVE 2002-0013, classification protocole SNMP broadcast request, attack markedd from 255.255.255.255 and strangely the defended machine is my workstation I search for my scanner from.

Other strangeness is my scanner is found.

And I would like to submit the logs but the process is discriminatory for blind user, which is not the first time I give this information.

Last time I tried was worse than before because my ticket was never created! So a false positive which I won't be able to report because TP-Link has the same consideration for blind user as... Trump in fact, sadely!

  @Abedur

Hi, Thanks for the APP logs. They will be forwarded to the senior engineer for further analysis.

By the way, "192.168.32.200" is the IP of one satellite unit; how about other IP addresses, "192.168.32.105-111"? What kinds of network devices, network printers, or smart home devices?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
