2.5 Gigabit PCIe Network Adapter Support

Hello,
Just installed my newly purchsed TX201 V1.0 and installed on my PC running Windows 10. After rebooting my PC, the card displays a solid green on the right and flashing yellow on the left. However, the device manager does not show this hardware at all. My mother board supports PCI 2.0 and I notice that TX202 supports PCIe 2.1. So my question is can the card run on a PCIe 2.0 slot? Please advise.
Regards,
Jay Yang

Hi, welcome to our community.
Yes, the TX201 should be compatible with a PCIe 2.0 slot. PCIe 2.1 is backward compatible with PCIe 2.0, meaning that devices designed for PCIe 2.1 can function in a PCIe 2.0 slot without issue.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot your situation:
1. Check Connections:Ensure that the card is properly seated in the PCIe slot. Remove and reinsert it if necessary.
2. Update Drivers:If the card is detected in BIOS but not in Windows, you might need to manually install the drivers from the official website.
3. Check BIOS Settings:Ensure that the PCIe slot is enabled in the BIOS settings. Sometimes, slots can be disabled by default.
4. Device Manager Refresh:After installing the drivers, refresh Device Manager. Sometimes, it may take a moment for new hardware to appear.
5. Windows Update: Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date, as updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.
6. Test in Another Slot:If possible, try inserting the card into a different PCIe slot on your motherboard to rule out any issues with the slot itself.
Thank you and best regards.
