BLOCKED main BE65 BE9300 Wifi7 from app use
Thursday - last edited Friday

I was blocking a few of the devices on my Wifi network, when the app started reporting: "Unable to connect to Deco. Please check the network".

The network is fine, and all non-blocked devices are working normally, full internet connection.

I believe I've blocked something fundamental to the app's ability to manage the main 'BE65 repeater unti/tower'.

How can I reset or unblock this?  Whenever I try to unblock, I get the message above.

Is it possible to somehow change which repeater is the master? so I can unblock everything?

Any help appreciated. Thank you

Hi, Does it make any difference if you try to access the Deco APP when the mobile phone is on 4G/5G mobile data?

It is also suggested to restart the whole Mesh system once.

You could refer to this link to change the main Deco: How to replace the main Deco with another Deco

By the way, a new firmware 1.1.0 is ready for Deco BE65 and it is also recommended to test the 1.1.0 version here:

Deco BE65_V1_1.1.0 Supported WireGuard VPN, Channel Selection and Matter

Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi David.

In answer:

No difference using the app using 4G/5G same error reported.

Will take a read of the articles, ty.

Update: RED light solid on main DECO.  Does this mean factory reset and rebuild the entire network again?

  @andrew_007

Do you mean after replacing the master Deco, the new main Deco BE65 turned solid red now?

It is also recommended to restart the ISP modem once.

After that, You can try some useful troubleshooting here:

Unable to connect to the Internet

Best regards.
