Firmware Version: Firmware 1.6.1 Build 20241010 Rel. 65389

Hi Community !

 

I have a ZTE Router with Easy Mesh functionality and i thought that my 2 Deco X 50 will support it.

 

I have found this documentation https://www.tp-link.com/no/support/faq/4249/ but i have seen that this applies only to hardware version V1.20.

Now i have seen that my Decos have hardware version V1.0 EU.

 

As i can see the EasyMesh functionality has come with Firmware Version Deco X50(EU)_V1.20_1.4.5 Build 20240828 for the V1.2

The latest Firmware for the hardware version V1.0 has no Easy Mesh.

So my question is will the hardware version V 1.0 will get the Easy Mesh functionality also and if so when will it be available ?

  @Marvin_S Thank you for the quick response !

 

I hope this feature will make it into the V1 Hardware Version because  i have bought the DecoX50 to extend my existing WLAN and i do not really want to create a new WLAN ;-)
