I have found a couple of other dead threads with no real solutions other than setting "Allow controller to Sleep after:" "Never"

This isn't really a solution though because once the battery dies or your pc has to restart the controller has to be fully disconected before it can be repaired.

I saw on one post from 2022 that the engineers were looking into it. Has any progress been made or is this flaw a part of this product forever?
