Deco is reducing or throttling speed and loss of wifi

I have 3 P9s with the main acting as DCHP. They are connected to a Virgin cable router. The virgin box is also a DCHP/ router for a separate network. (Virgin TV needs to connect direct to Virgin.)
The virgin line was upgraded to 1Gb last November and looking back at my nPerf speed tests, it was running at over 900Mb.
What I noticed today, prompted by a bad video call, is that the main Deco had no WiFi clients, even though it is sited to normally pick up the most and I was sat next to it with my phone. The Deco app wouldn't connect yet it was showing everything else working.
Rebooting and power off/ on the Deco didn't improve it, but rebooting the phone with the app on brought the main deco WiFi back!
On testing the speed, I can't get more than 200Mb. If I connect the phone to the Virgin WiFi (bypassing the Deco) I get 750Mb and if I plug the PC direct into the Virgin box, I get 900Mb+.
Looking from the Virgin Router, it says the Deco is connected at 1000 Mb. That's probably the system limit.
Back in the Deco app (current version) settings, it's timing out before it can load the DHCP page and a number of other commands. e.g. I can't update the 'Set Total Bandwith.'
Any ideas please?
