Hello,

I'm having problems with my internet connections via my Deco system, the units randomly loose internet connection, all three of them. Or they have on-off connection, so when I stream music it sounds like an old radio with antenna that keeps getting interference.

I want to completely delete my present setup and network and restart from scratch, see whether that helps.

I have deleted the two satelite-units in the app, only the main unit is still visible. Satelites are also now disconnected from power.

But I cannot delete the main unit. Every time I click the unit and via the menu right upper corner I select 'remove'. It starts (after the warning that the complete network will disappear with this unit), circles around and comes back to the main unit screen, still visible, with a message that it's impossible to remove the unit.

I have no option at all in my app to remove the network, maybe because I still have the unit active.

I have taken out the power of the unit, to see whether that might help to remove the unit and/or network, but that does not. In fact, my unit still shows as 'online' in the app, despite being unpowered so off.

Can somebody please help me to clear this unit and the network, so that I can setup a new network from scratch to see whether that might help to get a stable connection?

Edit: I am now trying to add my two satelites again to my network but the app doesn't see them anymore, the blue light is blinking but they both don't connect. And btw, my main unit is only on 2.4GHz and there's no way I can add the 5GHz. Did I completely ruin my system now?

@Helga You're supposed to delete the network "as a whole", not by removing one Deco at a time.

To delete a network, tap on the middle area of the home screen of Deco app (the "Everything looks good" area), then tap on the three dots at the top right corner, then select "Delete Network" (shown in red)

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

@ImtiazAli I tried to follow the instructions here by TP Link to remove a network, it said you have to remove the satellites first. So that might be problem no 1.

But I do tap the three dots when I'm at the page of my main unit, and it does give 'remove' in red after countdown to be sure (by removing this deco unit the factory settings will be reinstalled and the deco network will be removed from your TP-link ID). And when I click 'remove', it circles but comes back with an error 'Removing failed. Please retry later'
