Hi, welcome to our community.
The issue may be caused by a number of reasons. Here are some possible solutions for your reference:
1. Make sure your network connection is stable to avoid other devices taking up a lot of bandwidth or network resources. You may restart router for a try.
2. Close unnecessary background apps, especially those that take up a lot of network resources, such as download tools or video calling software.
3. Ensure the adapter driver and applications (including games and chat software) are up-to-date to avoid delays caused by software issues.
4. Clear the cache files of games and chat software (such as Discord), which can help resolve high latency caused by cache issues.
5. Enable hardware acceleration, which can improve application performance and reduce latency.
6. If the problem is with a specific game or chat platform, check its official status page or community forums to confirm if there is server maintenance or downtime.
7. Avoid other high-bandwidth activities such as downloading files or watching videos while playing games or using chat software.
Thank you and best regards.
