Sorry to bother you in this community.

But I am unable to receive a passwort reset e-mail.

I am a information professional, but I cant't get the password reset to work and I lost my passwort for the deco cloud.

Even included  "noreply@tp-link.com" to my gmail white list.

No Mail ever reaches may inbox.

Has somebody any idea or experiences the same problems?

Regards

Hi,welcome to the community.

I tested via my own email just now and I could recieve the password reset email.

Have you tried to "resend" the activation email?

You could also reset the password via the community web portal:

Wait for your reply and best regards.

For clarification: I refer to this procedure as described by TP-Link: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1442/

Yesterday

  @David-TP

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I tried both variants, but never received an e-mail. Tried this several times.

I only had access via my android DECO app, but this app was secured via biometric (fingerprint) security.

I lost my smartphone and bought a new smartphone. Unfortunetaly i didn't store the password in my password manager, as I usually do.

In the app on the old smartphone I was able to see the mail adress that I registered for my TP-Link account.

Is there any other way I can get the access back to my decos?

Only the factory reset, I guess?

regards

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.

If you want to keep using the previous email, a factory reset of the product hardware might not help as you still need to retrieve the email password.

But if you can change the email, like the current email you use for the community profile which is also a TP-link ID, after factory resetting the hardware, you could bind the Deco with the community email.

Best regards.
