Not getting 2.4GHz wifi
Not getting 2.4GHz wifi
Hello,
Im trying to connect some devices that only works on 2.4GHz.
when i disable "smart connect" and disable 5GHz wifi - the wifi light turns off and im not getting any wifi.
If it makes and difference the router is connected to SFP Media Converter. the operation mode is wireless router mode (PPPoE connection, when i connect the router for the first time i cloned the MAC)
as i said I wish to use WiFi, specifically 2.4ghz But the 2.4ghz is not available. I can't see it in any device. When I turn 5ghz off I can't see any WiFi network that is related to the router and even the WiFi light is turned off. even if i try to scan the 2.4GHz QR code to connect its unable to connect/
thanks in advance

and still no broadcast of signal 2.4 that any device sees?
edit: just some more questions
did it ever work? have you updated firmware yourself and roughly how long you had the router
You could try even though its up to date firmware re-flashing the existing firmware. manually download the correct firmware V2_1.1.1 Build 20241031 latest

maybe a case of returning it to retailer and getting a replacement/refund if reinstalling current firmware doesnt work.

Hi @avivagr,
The WiFi led light off you mentioned before refers to 2.4Ghz wifi led no power, right? Is 5Ghz LED light on when the issue occurs?
Please confirm that you reset the router correctly: Press and hold the RESET button until the Power LED blinks to reset the router to its factory default settings.
If the issue persists, please contact your local support for further help.
