Garden Office - 5G link to Mesh?

Model: Deco X55   Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

We have installed a Deco X55 WiFi 6 mesh in our house and it works really well. We have five satellites around the house and no dead zones.

We have a Garden office about 15-20 m from the house and the signal there was weak. So we got an X50 5G router and connected that to the house mesh. Unfortunately it still dropped off and it was clear that it wasn't using the 5G connection.

We've now rebooted the X50 5G as a separate network and it's working off the 5G. This is now dependable and reliable with adequate speed for PC and tablets in the office - but:

- it's nowhere near as fast as the house mesh system; and

- it's a separate network so isn't as handy for moving in and out of the office / house

Is there any way to connect the two networks / systems so we get the benefits of the fast mesh network but with the reliable 5G ensuring the office doesn't drop off?

Thanks!

For 15-20 meters distance, I would run an ethernet cable to the garden office and connect the Deco X50 5G unit to the house mesh.

The other way you could approach this is to use a Deco X50-Outdoor unit to expand the house mesh towards the garden offce.
