Archer t3u plus(EU) ver. 1.0 not detected as usb 3.0 in Windows 11 home
Hello the wifi usb Archer T3U plus(EU) ver 1.0 does not work as a usb 3.0 device. Windows 11 Home gives the message that: "this device can work faster if connect to usb 3.0".
I've just tried to use another usb port 3.0 but it doesn't solve.
What I can do? I've already updated drivers.
Thanks

Hi,
Can you please tell us the version number of the updated drivers?
Also note that under normal conditions many of these USB Wi-Fi adapters only switch to USB 3.0 when they are connected to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Hello,
the versione number of the driver is 1030.29.618.2019 data driver 04/09/2019 by TP-Link Technologies Co., Ltd.
My Wifi Usb adapter is connected to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network but not switch to USB 3.0.

That driver is very old. It may not support USB 3.0 mode.
I suggest you try the driver version 1030.44.0408.2024 you can find in this post: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/509006

Yes, by my experience the drivers for the T3U and similar USB Wi-Fi adapters that either come included with Microsoft Windows or are installed by Windows Update do not support USB 3.0 mode.
Version 1030.44.1014.2024 is such a driver that comes via Windows Update.
If you want to go back to the driver that supports USB 3.0, then you need to uninstall driver version 1030.44.1014.2024 and then re-detect the Wi-Fi adapter.
As for the reason why the drivers provided via Windows Update don't support USB 3.0 I can only speculate. Wi-Fi adapters like the T3U have been causing instabilities on some computers when run in USB 3.0 mode, so my guess is that Microsoft just did away with USB 3.0 mode to prevent users from potentially ending up with an unstable system.

Verify that Windows Update hasn't "updated" the driver to 1030.44.1014.2024 again. The driver version that supports USB 3.0 is 1030.44.0408.2024. Sometimes it can be necessary to reboot Windows after the driver was installed.

I uninstalled the network card, rebooted, installed the driver 1030.44.1014.2024 and rebooted but I'm still with USB 2.1.
In the box of that card is written USB 3.0, in the cd drivers there was an older driver of 2019.
