Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

Hi - I've got Starlink and switched off the Starlink router to use the XE75 Pro as the main router.

I'm getting a Starlink IP address - which is CGNAT

The XE75 Pro has a WAN 100.X.X.X ip address - but the LAN has its own 172.X.X.X address.

I've tried to install on the XE75 Pro a PureVPN connection - but this will not connect at all.

When dealing with PureVPN support they eventually gave up on this and informed that TP-LINK unit is not compatible.

So is there a way that I can setup the XE75 Pro to circumvent the Starlink CGNAT address - and so that I can use my local NAS to accessed remotely????

Thanks

  @geertje

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Did you plan to set Deco XE75 as the OpenVPN client for  PureVPN?

If yes, Deco is compatible with PureVPN and I have seen users successfully connect Deco with PureVPN.

How about the VPN client status on the Deco XE75 PRO? Is it stuck at "connecting"?

It is recommended to send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com ( please add forum ID#734810 in the subject) with the following details:

1. A copy of the PureVPN OpenVPN config file.

2. Please remove the VPN client settings and restart the Deco APP once. Then configure the VPN client again. Please save the web UI system log this time when VPN client fails to get connected:Deco web interface login

Wait for your reply and best regards.
