I'd tried the Mesh technology, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

I had already thought to change the DNS server.   Unfortunately I don't see the option to change this on my Deco set-up.   Would it be because the Deco is in Access Point and not Router Mode?   My boradband company's router doesn't permit changing the DNS servers; and it doesn't seem viable to swap in a Deco for the router provided with the (ADSL) service.

Scrolling through the threads I stumbled upon your question that was very similar to my experience after I got the latest firmware for my X60's in November 2024. Some devices had intermittent "no internet" issues, while other devices didnt have issues, or had them way less prominent.

My problem: For some reason, the "Smart-DHCP" function was not playing nicely anymore with my ISP-Router DHCP server. This was causing a lot of devices to be assigned similar/same addresses (even though they had 240+ addresses to choose from...) and it would keep assigning addresses to devices that were already taken. Ending up in both devices losing connectivity.

So if you have any other devices on your network that have DHCP functionality, you might be able to start there to fix your issue.
