Model: Archer C54
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.12.20 Build 230608

I bought two Archer C54s. I successfully set one up, and it's been running for more than one year. But the other one never worked properly.

I could only test it during the holiday as when I set it up, it would bring all connections down, so I have limited time to play with it around.

It looks like IP Confilct, but I can't make sure because in the Mikrotik log it only shows:

ether3-xx: bridge port received packet with own address as source address (6c:3b:6b:31:xx:xx), probably loop

I've checked the settings of this non-working Wi-Fi router with the one that I already set up. It's exactly the same. I've also upgrade the firmware, but still the same. Does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Please let me know if you need any data to provide.

Thank you

Hi @BrownFox,

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

Cable modem—Archer C54)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

When you test the Non-working C54, did you remove the normal one?  Please the normal unit and try to reset the Non-working C54. Then configure it again and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, please save the log and send it to email support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching Forum ID 734236 and details, and we will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.

  @Joseph-TP

No' it's not like that. The topology is like this

Cable modem—Mikrotik(router)—Switch—Wifi Router—Archer C54)))((( client devices

so, from modem, it connected to Mikrotik as a router, then connect to switch, then it connected to another Wifi Router (connected to ethernet port) then it connect to Archer C54.

Would this problematic? because with other wifi router it work just fine.
