Firmware Version: 1.2.10

Hello,

I have a question about VPN configuration on the Deco X50.

When I set up a VPN and assign an IP range (10.8.0.0) different from my local network (192.168.68.1), how does the routing work to allow access to devices on the local network from the VPN?

Everything works fine and I can access devices on the local network. However, I would like to know if the Deco handles this routing internally and how it manages the communication between the VPN and local network.

I cannot find any specific settings in the VPN configuration related to routing or local network access.

Could someone clarify how this is managed, or if additional settings are required?

Thank you!

Hi, nice to see you again.

I was told by the engineer before that when the VPN tunnel was created, Deco would also generate an internal IP interface-10.8.0.1 which specifically dealt with the VPN client data. Then there would be a server route from 10.8.0.1 to 192.168.68.1.

Thank you very much and best regards.
