Model: Archer T2UB Nano
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I just bought the dongle and it arrived today. I've installed the firmware and it shown on the Device Manager. Bluetooth works no problem, but my 2.4 ghz wifi hotspot can't be detected. I try to change it to 5.0 and it just show up right away. I even updated the driver via Device Manager (Now its Realtek 8811CU wireless LAN 802.11ac USB NIC) but it did not solve my problem. Anyone has similar problem and anyone has a solution? Thanks

Hi,

Does the T2UB Nano just not detect your 2.4 GHz hotspot, but it does detect other neighboring 2.4 GHz networks? Or does it not detect any 2.4 GHz networks at all?

Does the white serial number sticker on the greenish-blue box in which the T2UB came state "Model: Archer T2UB(US)" or "Model: Archer T2UB(EU)"?

@woozle it did not detect any. I tested by turning on my other family members' hotspot and the dongle did not detect them as well

The model is US

Note that the US versions do not support channels 12 and 13. So, please verify your hotspots are broadcasting on any channel from 1 to 11.

In case you have any external USB 3.0 devices attached to the computer (like an USB hard disk or USB SSD), then unplug it and check if the T2UB can now detect the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Interference from USB 3.0 devices is known to affect wireless devices that operate in the 2.4 GHz band.

@woozle ah fml, the problem is channel indeed. Thanks for helping me. I just hope the wifi on cafe i usually go to could be detected, if not i would try to return the dongle and buy another brand's.
