I’m experiencing an issue with my TP-Link Archer AX58 (AX3000) in AP Mode. Even though I’ve assigned a static IP address to the device, it continues to send DHCP requests to the network. This behavior is causing unnecessary entries in the DHCP lease table.

 

Despite confirming that the static IP is correctly configured, the router keeps making DHCP requests periodically. This behavior is unexpected and seems like a bug.

If your AX58 DHCP server is set to Auto then turn it off and test if there's an improvement.

Hi! It seems like this resolves the issue. However, it’s quite misleading as it's DHCP SERVER option . :)
