  @imdgp

Hi,

beta 1.1.0 (v1) sucessfully installed

just a little problem, I have a message in the app who say : Anormal WAN port speed

I have check all my cables (CAT6) and I think it is OK

my router have a 2.5 Gbs SFP (Lan) directly plug into the BE65 2.5 Gbs port.

my router reconized the 2.5 speed well.

have you an idea ?

@imdgp I have found it tricky to stop the vpn, it would immediately reconnect. Had to power off the BE65

Hi David-TP,

Since the new bêta firmware 1.1.0 for my BE65 (v1), I have issue with WAN connexion speed.

I have a message on my Deco app who say « Your WAN connexion is slow, please check router or cable »

I see this message when I am connected directly on the LAN but not in 5G (external)

I am connected with my historic cable CAT6

I have change and try with two new cable CAT8(2 differents brand)

But I have the same issue.

And this is not just a false positive message, because when I launch a Speed Test of wan connexion on the deco App, I have not my old speed. (2.3 GBs DOWN and 2.3 Gbs UP)

I have 98% of time (500 Mbs DOWN and between 2.3 and 1 Gbs UP)

Could you help me please ?

Have you maybe a new bêta version to fix it ?

Thank you.

@imdgp hopefully this thread is being monitored by TP-Link as per their request. I unfortunately cant help much. Still working fine for me in NZ but then I dont have your connection speeds - I get excited when I get over 300Mbps

  @Chuck-XM

Hi, sorry, I was held up by something else. I just replied to the email about 30 minutes ago.

I don't have any other suggestions for now and there hasn't been a newer beta version either So it is recommended to help me submit the Deco APP log and get the model number of the SFP modules. Then the senior engineers would be glad to offer further assistance.

Thanks again for your time and patience.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Hi @David-TP

For your informations, I have send these answers to the Support by mail.

If you are still having the WAN speed issue, could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log:
- OK, LOG is send.
Warning, I have send the DECO logs in my APP in external connexion, I have not the warning port WAN when I am on external connexion.
If it is not OK, I can send this evening a new log when I am on my internal connexion with WIFI and the warning message. (let me know)

I noticed you mentioned earlier that "my router has a 2.5 Gbs SFP (Lan) directly plugged into the BE65 2.5 Gbs port". Can I have the model number of the SFP module?
- It is a SFP Module send directly by my provider FREE (France) plug on a 10 Gbs port with the reference "Pureoptics SFP-10G-T-FBX-PO"

-Did it make any difference to the speed if we temporarily connect the main Deco BE65 to the 2.5G Ethernet port from the ISP router, instead of using the SFP port?
- I have already try to use an other port on my FreeBox "Only 2.5 Gbs ethernet" and I have the same issue.

If possible, it is also suggested to switch to a different Deco BE65 as the main Deco to see whether the WAN error started again:https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2400/
- I have also try to invert the DECO module to change the primary DECO and not better.

___________________________________________________________________________________

To conclude,  I confirm you, I have buy new hardware to bypass this issue, but not better also

I have buy a new Fiber 10 Gbs DAC to replace the fiber module and ethernet cable.
And I have buy a 10 Gbs Switch to add  between the FREE router and the DECO BE65.

But, same issue

Thank you.
