Not correct speeds

Hello I pay for a 500 mbps internet speed but when i do a speed test it goes to a max of 33, when i downloaded the tp utility the speed stayed the same and the speed on the utility always stays around 200 mbps, but the speeds on the speed test are still 30 even tho i use the utility and i get 200 mbps on the utility, and this makes my download speeds very slow. some apps even go down to 2 mbps while downloading things.
ps: idk which hardware version this is but i have just recently bought this on December 9th.
ethernet
wifi
utility

Hi,
2. Usually there are only two ways to improve the connection between two Powerline adapters.
- Reduce the distance between the them. (actually it's the cable length, but this might be hard to judge)
- Remove electric appliances from the circuit that cause too much interference in the wiring. To find out whether such a device is present unplug every and any device inside the house and then check if the Powerline speed improves.
4. The TL-PA7017P KIT does not support Wi-Fi, therefore this step is not applicable.
5. The product version is printed on the serial number sticker of almost any device made by TP-Link. But it looks like there is no firmware update for any TL-PA7017P.

Sorry for not being clear enough.
I mean the cables that run inside the walls of the building to connect the wall sockets to the fuse box.
Since it will be difficult to judge how the cables are routed inside the walls you just go by distance between wall sockets instead.
Try to plug the two TL-PA7017P into wall sockets that are as close together to each other as possible.
The lengths of the Ethernet cables do not matter.
Any electric device/appliance that plugs into any of the wall sockets (i.e. is connected to the electric circuit) of the house could be a potential source of interference that affects the speed of the Powerline adapters.
So, for a test you could unplug everything you have in the house (TV, radio, computer, phone charger, microwave, etc.) and then check if the Powerline speed improves.
If the Powerline speed still remains slow, then there is nothing more you can do. It is what it is.

I did not make this earlier when i bought this because i mainly play, games and it did help me stop getting packetloss and lower my ping but it made my internet download speeds much worse compared to the tp link archer T20xu which gave me 200mbps on the speed tests

Hi @pannini,
If you're experiencing low speed issues when connected to a TP-Link powerline device, there are several potential factors and troubleshooting steps you can take:
1. Check powerline adapters' placement: Ensure that the powerline adapters are plugged directly into a wall outlet and not into power strips, surge protectors, or extension cords.
2. Test different electrical outlets and move them into the same room for comparison.
3. Check powerline rates between the powerline devices via tpPLC utility/App, you could refer to this FAQ to understand the difference between powerline rate and actual internet speed:Explanation about the Powerline Rate and Actual speed of the Powerline Adapters.
If the powerline rate is too low, refer to this FAQ to see if it will be better: What can I do if my powerline rate is very low?
4. If the wired speed is normal, only wireless connection is slow, please try to change the Wi-Fi channel and channel width on the powerline extender.
5. Check available firmware updates and ensure the powerline adapter and extender are both using the latest firmware.

@Joseph-TP 1. It is plugged into the wall. 2. I don't not think i can move it because i got this product because i cant use it in the room where the router is. 3. the utility says 232 mbps. 4. i do not know what this is or how to do it. 5. when you say firmware do you mean latest utility or the actual product device. if it is utility i am using the latest version but I do not know about the device but I bought it on december 9th and do not know if it is the latest product for this kit.

OK then for number two the cable length dies that refer to the ethernet cable length if so i bought new Ethernet cords both 6 feet long and cat 8 also what do you mean remove them from the circuit
