Model: Deco XE70 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

I am looking for the DMZ options within the Deco app, I can not seem to find them. Per the instructions on Nintendo's website, DMZ mode is the ideal way to resolve NAT issues with the Nintendo Switch.

Can someone assisst me, I would love for my kids to use their Switch online with their friends.

@Wilcor2 there is no DMZ setting on Deco BE85 AFAICS (I'm not using my XE70 so I can't check but

I think it's the same).

Even if there was you would need to make an IP address reservation for the switch, have you done that?

If your ISP uses CG-NAT the only way you can do this is by using a VPN provider that supports port

forwarding or pay for a static external IP address from your ISP and you would still need reserve the

internal address of the swicth to forward the needed ports for the later case.

The only thing I can find that supposedly needs incoming open ports on a switch is Nintendo Switch

Online and the port forwarding for that appears to be known, I don't know if what I saw is accurate.

If that is what your after and you do forward the needed ports then only one switch can be setup to

use this for obvious reasons, is one switch only enough?

So what is it you are actually having trouble with?
