What is your hardware version ? 1.x? For 1.8 solution is OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment 12.09

I purchased this router - TL-WR1043ND a few weeks ago to use with my cable Internet (1 Mbps connection). The main idea was to replace my trust Linksys router which has 100 Mbps ports, and I needed something faster for file transfers over the LAN.

Now, with PPoE, the router was a breeze to setup, and worked fine for the first week or so. After that, I have had to reboot the router every few hours, every day.

The SYS light sometimes goes off and some times stays ON permanently.

When the router hangs, I cannot even connect to the web interface via the wired LAN connection from my PC.

I do not want to go for any third party software, rather I would want TP-Link to fix the issue. This is certainly not a cheap router.

Vakharia your problem is same with me. TP link please fix this problem!!

from http://www.tp-link.com.my/ website don have the latest firmware, but from other country there have latest firmware but we cannot update it, if we update it then our unifi cannot be use anymore!! This is serious problem!!! TP link support didnt help us !! really bad support.

This problem is very common in 1043ND,and a third-party firmware is the best choice for thie router.

So mean that Tp link support didnt look at the problem....

Really sad, never tot that TP link support so weak. Until now didnt see support team respone anything.

I sent an email from the website contact form to TP Link.

Let us see if they respond.
