Hi, installing my new Archer BE800 it did not connect to the ISP modem I use for internet access. 
the TP-link logo kept on blinking and nothing happend. I can not access the BE800 wireless or by Ethernet connection as well. Disconnect and restarted the modem and the BE800, checked cables etc.
other TP-Link routers connecting and work fine in this setup with this modem (archer 1100 and Archer ax73).

 

after performing a reset of the system I now see an 'arrow down' emoji. What does this mean (can not find it anywhere)  + which action should I take?

Could you please confirm if you're connecting the LAN port of your ISP modem to the BE800's 10Gbps Combo port? If not, please access the BE800's web GUI to change the WAN port settings first. You may refer to the User Guide for details:

BTW, who is your ISP? What is the model number of the provided modem?

 

When connecting the AX11000 or AX73 to the ISP modem and getting online, what is the WAN/Internet Connection Type you're using? Is it Dynamic IP?

 

When connecting the ISP modem to the BE800 and choosing the same type, will you get an Internet IP address on the BE800?

Hi Thanks for your reply. i rebooted and resetted again and now the logo just keeps on blinking (again) and nothing happends.

Archer BE800 User Guide - I allready read this, not helpfull in this situation

 

BTW, who is your ISP? What is the model number of the provided modem? - Ziggo, Sagemcom F3896LG - my current TopLink routers (archer 1100 + Archer AX73) work perfectly with this modem

Thank you for the detailed information.

 

How did you connect to the GE800 when attempting to access its WEB GUI? Please reset it to factory defaults first. Then, connect a computer to one of the LAN ports and try logging into its WEB GUI by entering http://tplinkwifi.net in the address bar of your browser. During this process, please make sure the computer is not connected to any wireless networks or other routers via Ethernet.

 

Alternatively, try connecting to the GE800's default wireless network on your phone, then run the Tether App again to check if it detects the router.
