Archer BE800 router stuck in a boot loop
After using my BE800 as a main and only router hooked up to a 10gb fiber box (genexis PX2310) for barely two months (without any trouble), 2 days ago I suddenly lost WIFI connection. Looking at the router, I noticed that it was rebooting. Only to never complete the boot sequence ever again. It's stuck in a boot loop, and despite a few attempts to factory reset the unit, I only end up with an arrow pointing downwards on the dot screen, allowing me to update the firmware. None of the 3 versions I tried (it was running on v1.1.6 when it happened) made a difference. As soon as I restart the unit after updating the firmware, it goes back into a loop of boot sequences.
Any help would be much appreciated !
thx

Hello @-Ael-, thank you for posting in the community.
The router appears to be in a boot loop. Do you remember any actions taken before this issue occurred, such as a firmware upgrade or a power outage?
Please refer to the guide in this FAQ (Method 2) to see if you can bring the router back to normal.
If the firmware recovery doesn’t resolve the issue, we recommend contacting the reseller or reaching out to the local tech support, so they can work with you in looking into the issue further or help with the replacement:

Hi @Kevin_Z , thanks for getting back to me.
I upgraded the routeur to firmware v1.1.6 at least a few weeks before the event, and the router was protected from any power outage by a UPS.
The unit just gave up without any warning, after barely two months of use, which is quite disappointing given the price of such a flagship router.
I'm gonna try and go through the rescue method described in the link you sent and let you know how it went.
