My smartphone apps (Android and IoS) will not connect to the internet (eg banking, weather, etc) when on the deco mesh network. Yet chrome internet is fine. Laptops, smart TVs, streamers - all fine.
I have to disable wifi, then use sim card.

You may change DNS Server to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 following this guide.
