Using Deco BE85 as ethernet switch vs. standalone device - performance question
Hello,
Would it be feasible to use the Deco BE85 as an ethernet switch besides using it as a WiFi AP?
My setup would consist of 3 rooms.
Room A has the (non-Deco) modem/router which connects to the Deco via 2.5GbE and possibly another device that would plug into the second 2.5GbE port.
I would then use the two 10GbE Ports to connect to a 10GbE switch in Room B and to a second Deco BE85 in Room C, which would also serve as a switch for attaching devices via Ethernet.
My question is: Is that a feasible setup performance wise (for the 10GbE network parts) or would it be preferable to have a standalone 10GbE switch in room A that handles the wired traffic and only have the BE85 there connected to it as WiFi access point?
Thank you!
