TP-LINK RE705X Extender second connection to router

I hope you are well.
Quick question: Is it normal that the TP-Link RE705X extender sets up an additional connection to my Asus RT-AX86U Pro router? On the router device list, I see the RE705X with a dynamic address over Wi-Fi 5 at 80 Hz with the MAC address found in the TP-Link mobile app. Then I see another Wi-Fi connection at 160 Hz with a static IP address and a MAC address I don't recognize and cannot find in the extender app.
I confirmed this is the extender as I disconnected other devices, and the only two entries are from the extender.
Does the extender set this up for the 160 Hz band?

You can try the following
Disable Easymesh feature and check again your connections. If this connection still exists then probably some other device is connected to your Asus router.
