@tap0 I suspect they are force-throttling the CPU usage to go down when you click to view it on the device info.
Otherwise, the CPU usage still maxed out throughout the day for me. It's like a false cosmetic fix. My X50-5G still hits 100% all the time, and when click to view usage, it went down. Been checking randomly throughout the day and it's the same, nothing changed UNTIL you click to view and it goes down about half a minute later. Come back again, still max.
Support enginner wanted me to provide remote access to my network for support. Well, no thank you.

Yesterday, great speed results, all devices connected, vpn client working.
Today, wifi down and no connection. All deco show green LED.
I'm returning this as faulty. Back to the slow but stable Archer mr200.

@tap0 Oh wow the MR200 is really old. I owned and used the MR400 and then MR600 for quite a long time before moving to X50-4G (which update cycle was so short and then quietly pushed to end of life). The X50-5G I'm using now is the worst among them all when it comes to stability.

@gnz I've been offered a new firmware upgrade (1.2.0 20241230-rel33540) which I might try before returning the X50-5g. I'd like to keep it because it was really fast on 4g.
Which modem are you considering? Any thoughts on the Archer NX200?

Hi there, I Just want to confirm that the x50-5g will get the ability to have a IoT network like the x50 mesh system?
That would be great, any idea when the firmware will become a production release and out of beta ?
Thanks
Dave

@DavidHB it's available on this firmware. I didn't try it because the system was so unstable.

I have the Same problem. I have now updated to the latest beta firmware but still same problem.
DECO must fix this problem asap.
Update: I can't even downgrade now to 1.1.7 either.
This is not acceptable. Fix now

@David-TP Unfortunately my issues with DHCP, QoS and associated instabilities came back on this firmware. Tonight the network entirely went down until i toggled on-off QoS again. I tried downgrading it to 1.1.7 - the firmware recovery page at http://192.168.0.1 never loads. I can ping the device when I put it into recovery mode and connect my PC via ethernet with static IP, but the site never loads. This seems like a really crucial issue, and from the sounds of it, i'm not the only one facing it right now.
