IPv6 not connecting

IPv6 not connecting
Region : Australia
Model : TD-W8980
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : TD-W8980_V1_130304
ISP : Internode
The modem is connected via IPv4 but I can't get the IPv6 to work with my ISP (Internode Australia). I bought the modem believing IPv6 was supported (it says "IPv6 ready" on the box).
My previous modem was a Billion and both the IPv4 and IPv6 connection would connect automatically.
I have enabled IPv4 and IPv6 in the TD-W8980 but only the IPv4 is connected and IPv6 remains in the connecting state.
I have read elsewhere that this is because the TD-W8980 doesn't support "DHCPv6 prefix delegation".
Can anyone help me setting up the modem for IPv6 with Internode or know of a work around for this issue?
