Model: Deco
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.4

Hello, i have an EB810V with latest firmware connected to 10g internet   where i want create a new Mesh Wifi with 2 new DECO50-POE connected each via Eth-poe to share same SSID.

All 3 unit must have same sid

All 2 deco50-poe must connect to EB810 directly via ETH

I have made many test with DECO50 but is not possibile to add to a new Mesh are creating direc from EB810V (i enable mesh and i tried to add MESH device)

They are not visible via TPLINK search and is not possible to associate via WPS since there is no key to deco to push (from EB810v menu)

So I tried with deco APP but in this case is only possible to create an area of 2 deco and not including EB810v :

DECO app force to create a new mesh are with DIFFERENT name of sid (not possibile to use same sid of EB810) and is not possibile to have 2 deco direct connected via eth (1 deco is connected via eth and other only connect to him via WIFI)

I'm able only (after configured) to force to change sid same of EB810.....

very frustating.

Please, can you give me indication how can made my mesh area ?

  @LucaBacchi

Hi, welcome to the community.

Is the EB810v provided by the ISP?

EB810v doesn't support Deco Mesh and it can't be added via Deco APP. Deco X50-POE doesn't support EasyMesh so it can't be added as EasyMesh devices via Agnet APP/web UI either.

If you could replace EB810v with Deco BE85, It would be perfect.

Or replacing Deco X50-POE with HX510-PoE would also be a great option.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP EB810EV I bought it directly to put it on a 10G FTTE from Telecom Italia with their external ONT Fibra-Rame 10Gb Nokia. Telecom Italia supplies the Sagemcom 10G standards which all have major stability problems and for this reason I put that it works perfectly. I didn't know that there was no compatibility with the DECO50-POE on the MESH. I can't find the model you indicated available for purchase which have the exact same form factor which is fine for me. But is it possible by any chance to change only the FW?

  @LucaBacchi

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm afraid it can't be changed via firmware and there isn't such a middle firmware either.

How about Deco BE85? Can you get this model anywhere? It is also one of our top-notch WiFi 7 Deco models.

Best regards.

  @David-TP hi, I'm waiting for HX510 in case they become available. In the meantime I let them work separately but with the same SSID :) . Can you confirm that in the > 2 deco configuration connected directly to the switch's poe, only 1 of them communicates via ethernet while the others pass through the main one's wifi? I mean that they are not autonomous in sending the data flow directly always from the wifi Client to the switch? Thanks
