Issue with TP-Link AC600 Archer T2U Nano on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Hi all,
I recently purchased the TP-Link AC600 Archer T2U Nano wireless USB adapter, but I am unable to get it to work on my Dell Inspiron 3583 running Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far to install the driver:
- Followed the instructions here: AskUbuntu Thread.
- Used the source from this repository: aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.
- Installed via apt: `sudo apt install rtl8812au-dkms`.
The adapter is recognized by my system, but I cannot detect any Wi-Fi networks. For comparison, my TP-Link Archer T4U adapter works perfectly fine under the same conditions.
Any advice or suggestions to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hello.
Any updates on this issue?
I have the same problem I have tried everything and the result is always the same. I can I see the led blinking, Ubuntu list the T2U in the list of network devices but does not find any network.
In Windows it works like a charm.
Best regards.
@rafacomu No update I get the feeling TP Link doesn't care about it's customers.....Hopefully the next pop os ubuntu fixes it...

Hi,
If you'd like to have a response from a TP-Link representative, then you should to tag them in your post. Look for someone who has TP-Link next to their name and then @Joseph-TP @Marvin_S .

@TylerInNiagara Not getting a response from TP Link would be a disappointment. Until now I recommended TP Link products to everyone who asked me about network equipment. But now I will have to think twice.
