Could you please let me know where you purchased the BE800? I couldn't find this model on the Korean official website, so I assume it’s not officially available in Korea.
Different models and hardware require different power consumption, so it's not advisable to charge devices with non-original power adapters.
Additionally, different countries have different wireless channel ranges, which might cause signal and frequency detection problems. If the BE800 router doesn’t support the wireless channels used in Korea, you could experience connection issues. Moreover, TP-Link does not offer a global RMA policy, meaning you may not receive full after-sales support for the BE800 in Korea.
In summary, while the BE800/BE900 routers may technically work in Korea, they could face challenges due to channel differences and regional restrictions. I recommend verifying whether the router supports the wireless channels in Korea and considering a local router to avoid potential compatibility issues.
