@CyberHavoc9017 LOL my older X50-4G has not received any update in more than a year. Quietly being pushed to end of life despite it being relatively new, but still sold in the market.

Gave TP-Link a chance and upgraded to the newer X50-5G. And the device gave me hell. Kept going down multiple times a day, choking all the time. And after the recent major update, it now shows what the main culprit has been ... which is the CPU usage maxing out at 100% all day long and memory usage above 80% all the time.

Subsequent firmware updates and beta releases that promised to fix the issue have not improved anything.

What a let down. I'm givng up and moving to Ubiquiti. Waiting for my last piece of Ubiquiti Unifi U6 Pro to arrive to complete the migration.

@OzPatricio same here. Been using TP-Link for many years now ... with the MR400, MR600, Deco X50-4G, Deco X50 and now Deco X50-5G.

Finally giving up. I guess TP-Link deserves to be slammed by the US government for such terrible firmware support and security fixes.

I have the XE75 Pro V2 and faced the same issues as you.. I will also be jumping to another brand because I don't agree that the latest iterations of a product do not receive the same treatment as earlier iterations (v1 vs v2) This is especially frustrating due to no having a choice of which iteration being purchased e.g. I cannot see or choose the V1 over a V2 when buying from TP Link directly or 3rd party resellers.

Could you advise which product/brand you have moved to?

Xe75 pro V3 2.4ghz is absolutely trash. No word on any sort of update. Planing to switch to something based on Openwrt.
