Occassional Random Disconnect (Yellow Light)
Since I just bought the Deco XE75 Pro a few days ago,I encountered the following random disconnects twice:
1) Deco XE75 Pro would randomly show solid yellow in the main unit and the satellite units will turn red.
2) All devices will experience internet disconnection.
3) Wait for a few minutes before the main unit turn solid green again and the satellite units will turn green after. Internet connectivity is then restored.
I was checking logs and saw quite a few entries where it states the following:
- Thu Dec 5 22:47:24 2024 daemon.err conn-indicator: [connecting_cb] Connection to ubus failed: /var/run/ubus.sock: No such file or directory
Any advice on possible issues causing this and whether there is a fix for it to prevent it from happening

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
It seems like the main Deco XE75 PRO is randomly rebooting.
Have you tried to change another power socket or swap its power adapter with another Deco XE75 Pro?
By the way, do you have any 6GHz-supported devices? Can I have their model numbers?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

I have the XE75 Pros also and have noticed exactly the same thing. I have reported this via the Deco app.

@BenGinders Hi, Thank you very much for the APP logs. Did the issue just start recently since I noticed you had the Deco XE75 Pro for a while?
I saw there are ~59 online clients. How many of them are smart IOT devices?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP Thank you for your reply. Let me try by changing power adapter and monitor. Will reply with my observations. As just now it suddenly turn yellow not sure why and saw your reply. Now trying with a new adapter.
I am not sure if I have any 6GHz supported devices I think might not have based on what I understand.

Sorry just curious where do I find the report button in app as per what you mentioned? Maybe I can chip in my logs when it happen again.
Edited: Realised how to share my logs and have also reported it. @David-TP I realised the account email I used for this is different from the one linked to my Deco but have added a link to this post in the content of the report stating it is me. Ticket Number: TKID241215549

Hi @David-TP,
This only started to happen recently, and the only thing that has changed is I have added a few more devices. There is around 33 - 36 IoT devices that use WiFi and I have another 30 or so that use Zigbee, Thread or Z Wave.
All WiFi IoT devices are connected via the IoT network.
I honestly think it is a memory issue as after I cleared some old offline devices and switch the router off for a short while the router is stable for a few weeks unless I try to do anything in the app..
Simple things like below seem to trigger the drop outs and restarts
- Reserving an IP address
- updating a device e.g. mesh function or connection preferences.
- Setting connection alerts

@RelaxationRe:Occassional Random Disconnect (Yellow Light)
I've had nothing but trouble with deco home mesh system. An electrician as well as an electronics company have not been able to stop the wifi disconnecting and also often reverting to original wifi from modem, which leaves all devices incompatible.
It has been costly and completely unreliable

@Robtatter1955 Hopefully they are able to fix it. Just bought a set of 3 XE75 Pro only for only less than a week.

Hi, Thanks for your patience. Your case has been escalated to the senior engineer for further analysis. I'm sure he could help us locate the issue as soon as possible.
Hi, based on your description so far, It doesn't seem like the autp-restart issue.
Is there any chance that you could start a new thread here with more details of your current issue so that I could check whether there are any suggestions?
It would be very helpful if you could add some screenshots of the current network map, such as:
