Bind is not popping up in the Deco app after change ownership
Hello,
I'm trying to change the ownership of my Deco network from one account to another.
After entering my new account I correctly received the expected email from tp-link which.
When I connect to the Deco with my new account, I tap "LET'S BEGIN" but then instead of getting the "BIND" button I am presented with the standard initial setup options for a brand new deco install (select your model, switch the power off, wait for the blue led etc.).
I also waited 1 day since someone said that was a solution but it didn't work either.
I did try to reinstall the app, didn't work.
Restart of the Deco X20 didn't work.
At this point I am stuck: the new account doesn't work yet and the old one no longer works. Can anyone help me understand what went wrong?

@Chris_60 Thank you very much for the feedback.
Can I have the firmware version for your Deco X20?
Please also help me submit the Deco APP log:

It says Deco X20 (EU) Ver.3 S/N222A3B0B01612 on the unit
I did send the logs from my phone but I don't know if it helps

Hi, Thanks for the APP logs.
I've sent a beta firmware in the email. Could you please help me check whether the beta firmware works?
Or I noticed your firmware is still 1.1.5 and the latest official firmware for Deco X20_V3 is 1.2.2 now. You could also manully install the 1.2.2 firmware here:
Deco X20(EU)_V3_1.2.2 Build 20241009

I don't know how to do this since the guide link don't say anything on this page.
If I download and install this can I be sure all my settings will still be there?

Hi, The manual firmware downgrade needs to be through Deco web UI:
-Since changing the email didn't not succeed the first time, this Deco X20 is not binding to any email ID now and the web UI login password should be the previous owner ID and password
How to Update the Firmware of Deco-- Method 2
The firmware upgrade will still keep the previous network configurations.
Thank you very much and best regards.

I found the guide but I can't access the router since my password is not recognized. I tried both the old owners and my usual for the network.
Any solution for this?

Hi, Have you ever changed the password of the old owner's email ID before?
-If you are using the old owner ID and the password you remember, can you log into the Deco APP?(which could be used to test whether the recorded password is correct or not)

I think I need to explain a little more, when I set up a network at my parents I made something wrong since the owner became their mail address instead of mine.
So their system I can still see in the app but my own disappeared as expected.
I tried my parents password which work to access the app.
I tried my previus password and all password I used for login in to router before but still can't access
