Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

While the XE75/Pro had a firmware update to v1.4.1 last September, no such update has been forthcoming to V2 (or V3) which is still stuck on v.1.2.11. Does this mean you have abandoned the V2 and V3 products? If not, why the long delay?

  @cocofyn

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

They are definitely not abandoned. The main hardware versions currently for sale are still V2 and V3.

Best regards.

  @David-TP So why haven't they received the same firmware updates as V1? They are currently months behind.

  @cocofyn  I agree it seems now the TP Link teams  are focusing on bringing MATTER functionality etc.. to other models now only releasing updates for the V1 devices.

  @David-TP

It appears there might be a discrepancy in your statement.

Based on recent observations and customer experiences, it seems there has been little to no active support or updates for these hardware versions. This lack of attention gives the impression they may have been deprioritized or effectively abandoned, even if still technically for sale.

Could you clarify how these versions are being actively maintained or supported to reassure of their ongoing value?

  @cocofyn   this is a symptom of quantity over quality - TP-Link keeps pumping out new hardware and new revisions without properly supporting existingmodels.

The company should focus on fewer models and provide proper updates across the board.

  @Relaxation

It would be sensible to send it back for a refund if you can. There are a lot of complaints about the XE75 which TP-Link appear to have abandoned. And as they don't deny it, its probably true as whenever they go quiet, its usually because they have no answer.

If you must go Deco, the X50/X55/X60 seems to be their favourite......but not the X50-Outdoor for some reason, they've abandoned that one too.

Have a look at Eero, that's where I've ended up and its solid.
