Deco XE75 Pro + Archer TXE70UH on Windows 11 Slower Than Linux
Deco XE75 Pro + Archer TXE70UH on Windows 11: Speed test is about 300 Mbps download
Deco XE75 Pro + Intel WiFi6 AX200 on Linux Mint: Speed test is about 650-700 + Mbps download
My internet plan is 1000 Mbps download with 50 Mbps upload.
I am not sure why my WiFi 6E speeds are slower on Windows 11 when it is using the Archer TXE70UH USB adapter on a 6Ghz WiFi.
I cannot run Archer TXE70UH on Linux Mint and have to use my mainboard's Intel WiFi6 AX200 but it runs about twice as fast on 5Ghz WiFi.
Any idea why I see half the speed on Windows 11?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
1. What is the distance between your main Deco and Win11 PC? It is suggested to move Win11 PC closer to your main Deco, as the wireless coverage of 5GHz and 6GHz are different.
And you may check whether your Win11 PC is connected to your 6GHz band of your main Deco on Deco app following this guide.
2. Please refer to the guide to check link speed on your Win11 PC and share the screenshot here.
3. Did you test speed via www.speedtest.net?
Additional:
1. Disable QOS: Deco APP > More > QoS > Turn off QoS Completely. Or, change to standard, remove all priorities and set bandwidth to 1000Mbps.
2. Turn off the UPNP feature and SIP ALG feature in the Deco App Under: More > Advanced > NAT Forwarding.

My PC and the Deco are in the same room. The distance between them is around 5m. It is very open with just a sofa in between.

Yes, I am on 6GHz.

I got the Archer TXE70UH USB WiFi adapter to work on my Linux Mint OS on the same PC. It is getting 781 Mbps download speeds.

I am still trying to figure out why it runs at half the speed on Windows 11. I have uninstalled all the ASUS software on my Windows 11. I am not exactly sure what software issue is causing this WiFi 6E to run so much slower than on Linux Mint.

I made some progress today. I terminated software in Windows 11 one by one to see if my download speeds improved.
To my surprise, my Logitech G Hub software for my Logitech keyboard was one of the culprits. My download speeds went up after I terminated that software. I have since uninstalled both my Logitech keyboard and mouse software because they run fine without them.
I squeezed an extra 100 extra Mbps download speed. It is still not as fast as my Linux Mint speed but I will keep investigating. Silly Windows!
