Quick one ..Am I correct in that the TP-LINK TL-WPA7517 & TL-WPA7617 while looking the same are different .. My Neighbours bought the two sets in thinking they could use the TL-WPA7617 to extend the power line kit TL-WPA7517 KIT but the speed is dropping like a brick when the TL-WPA7617 are added. ? Spec wise they are the same , please advise

I spotted also that we have two different hardware versions V1 and V2 ?

From the spec comparison, the main difference between the two is the main adapter, and the former also has some functional differences.For the same series of products, they are compatible with each other.

When your neighbor newly joins the TL-WPA7617, does the speed of the entire Powerline network decrease, or is only the speed of the newly added Powerline kit not ideal? What is the actual speed?

At the same time, help us test the Powerline rate at this time and send the screenshot here.

In addition, interference in the power environment may also cause the network speed to decrease. Please replace the new Powerline kit to another location for comparison.

If it is convenient for you, please remove the TL-WPA7517 KIT, connect the TL-WPA7617 KIT to the router alone and test the network speed to confirm whether the TL-WPA7617 KIT has the normal speed at this time?
