Hi all,

I just upgraded my ethrnet to 2.5G and I'm not able to get the right speed, so I checked my setting at control center and I saw that the speed at 1.G max, so I've read few post in here and chenged EEE max support speed to 2,5G and it didnt worked and also speed and duplex to 2,5G. **I did drivers update to latest. This is my specs :

gigabyte Z790 gaming X

TP-LINK B19000 - the one with 10G Lan outpot

And I'm uging CAT-7.

Hi,

 

If you connect your computer to one of the four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports of the Archer BE800, do you get 2.5 Gbps connection speed then?

If the connection always shows as "1000Mbps Full Duplex", no matter whether the computer is connected to the 10Gbps port or a 2.5 Gbps port, then I would think this is not the fault of the Archer BE800.

 

You should test with another Ethernet cable. (even a Cat5e cable should be good enough)

And if that still doesn't change anything I suggest you open the Windows Device Manager, remove the entry for the Realtek PCIe 2.5 GbE controller and then click the "Scan for hardware" button to have it reinstalled again.
