Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.6.2

I am using the deco m5 in an environment with the hotspot functionality configured, I need to remove the wifi access password, that is, allow connection to the deco's wifi without the need for a password, how can I do this?

On the Deco app, go to wifi settings, then “advanced”, click “security” then choose “none” and then go back to previous screen x2 and click “save”.
BT Full fibre 500, 1x X60 V3.2 in router mode and 1 x XE75Pro V2.

Another option is to enable Guest Network in Deco app, you can run it without password.

In the new firmware release now Guest network must have a strong password, with letter, number, symbol, caps...

Why on earth TP Link did that?

Let the customer choose!

It's totally useless for me guest network with a complex password, it's a temporary network where we need an easy access.

If the customer want with no password, why the equipment would reject the owner decision?

It's absurd.
