Blocking YouTube but not YouTube TV
I've searched everywhere online and it seems everyone has trouble with this one. For anyone not aware, YouTube TV resides on a subdomain of YouTube at tv.YouTube.com so if you block YouTube, both are blocked. I subscribed to the Advanced parental controls and it seems like it is so close to working with the "app" level blocking because YouTube and YouTube TV appear as 2 separate apps there. I blocked YouTube and left YouTube TV unblocked but it still blocks both. Has anyone gotten this working?

Hi, Welcome to the community.
I checked the firmware release note of Deco X5000_V1.6_1.3.0 Build 20240830. It should support "Blocked Apps" and "Always Allowed Apps".
Did you select "Youtube" under "Blocked Apps" and "Youtube TV" under "Always Allowed Apps"?
Could you please also help me submit the Deco APP log:
Wait for your reply and best regards.

yes, that's exactly what I did. The result is that YouTube and YouTube TV are both blocked.

I've been trying to search for a solution to this same issue. Do you have any solutions or idea when there may be a solution?
