Hi

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/210476

Good to know. I bought the RE200 and wondered what I was doing wrong not being able to configure OneMesh for guests. Now I know. Fortunately I can still return this worthless product.

I am sending it as a product review.

Hi  @WebGregArcher

As you can see in other historical link, one mesh can only be used to extend the main network.
So unfortunately, this product cannot meet your usage needs. It is recommended that you contact us to learn more about the product specifications before purchasing the product. If you want to return the product, we can only respect your choice. We still hope that you can find a product that meets your usage needs.

Thank you.

Very funny. Can you point me to where this information is on the page https://www.tp-link.com/pl/home-networking/range-extender/re200/ ? Add to this the fact that stores present even less information about the product. Usually there is only information about OneMesh support.

 Hi @WebGregArcher,

I understand your frustration, but we have not advertised that the Range Extender supports guest networks, so it cannot extend the guest network of the main router.
Similarly, the powerline adapter that supports OneMesh does not support guest networks and can only extend the main network.

Even the popular Easymesh product does not support extending guest networks yet.

Thank you.

That's right. You simply wrote that it supports OneMesh. You might as well sell electric cars without the ability to charge and explain to irritated customers - we didn't advertise the ability to charge anywhere.

A guest network is simply a network. If you advertise the ability to extend a network without specifying the exception that it only applies to the primary network without the guest network, then you are simply misleading.
