Tp Link RE330 Extender very slow on 2.4, 5ghz and ethernet
I have a 500 mbps router and when i use the extender om 2.4 or 5ghz i am only getting 30-90 mbps and on ethernet i am getting 30-80 mbps. How can i fix this because this is very slow compared to the router speed.

Thank you for all troubleshooting that you have done.
Could I confirm, did connect the range extender to router via wireless rather than Ethernet cable, right? That is, you didn't set the range extender in access point mode.
If RE330 is working in Access Point mode, its speed is indeed limited by its Ethernet port specification of 100M.
If RE330 is indeed connected to the router via Wireless, please unplug RE330 and test the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz speeds of the router at the location where RE330 is installed.
If the speeds are both over 100Mbps, please re-plug RE330 into the wall socket. Then test the link speed and actual speed of the two Wi-Fi bands of RE330.
Note:
1.we recommend using the http://www.speedtest.net for testing actual speed accurately. Speedtest APP/CLI tools (https://www.speedtest.net/apps/) would be better.

@Joseph-TP Hello, I am using the router wirelessly to the extender I have tested the speed near the router and where I need to put it the speed never goes over 90mbps when the router speed it 500 mbps and where I need to put it is 300 mbps i
