Unable to change WiFi name and password
Hi, I have a system I setup for a friend. The main deco is the X1500, then a X50 Outdoor and the 3 x M5. He wasn’t home when I was setting it up for him so I just put in a generic WiFi name and password and thought I could change it when he gets home. However, when I try and change it, after about 1 minute, in the app the WiFi name and password just reverts back to the original one I set. I’ve rebooted all 5 decos hoping this would help but it still does the same after.

May I confirm when you were configuration the Deco network, did you use your friend's TP-Link account, right? Did you add your account as manager account on Deco app?
When you are trying to change wireless settings or other settings, are you logging into your account or your friend's account on the Deco app?

I am using my account and I have created a new network. He doesn't have an account and isn't very technical so I used mine so I can manage it for him

It is suggested to follow this guide to send app log using the email address you registered on our community. Then we will consult senior engineering for further analysis.
