Model: Archer AX23
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 44461(5553)

Earlier, when I logged into my router, I noticed that an update was available — firmware version 1.1.1, Build 20240822, Rel. 44461. I proceeded with the update, and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, after the update, I noticed that only the orange LED in the middle was lit, and when I tried to log back into the router, I received a "System Error" message stating that the router could not start up normally and that I should upgrade the firmware.

I downloaded the latest firmware (Archer AX23(EU)_V1.20_1.1.0 Build 20230725) from the TP-Link website, as version 1.1.1 wasn’t even listed. I tried updating with 1.1.0 and it loads fine but does nothing. After some research, it seems like my router may be bricked. The update went fine and there was no power interruption or anything that could have interrupted the updated but it got bricked.

@terziyski I already tried that. It doesn't bring me to page where it says 'Rescue Mode'. This is what I get instead.

I can get to this page just by going to 192.168.0.1, or without turning off and turning back on while pressing WPS button (this step seems to do nothing for me).

I do still have the option to upgrade though as you can see from screenshot above but doing so just loads fine up to 100% but does nothing. Router doesn't restart or anything. I still have the solid orange light in the middle of my router.

Probably you should use the Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 44461(5553) for recovery procedure.

Since it's not published yet on the global english support portal contact your local support and ask for assistance on that.

Anyone here from TP-Link can give the the latest version '1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 44461(5553)' that was available via online update? It seems local support 'TP-Link PH' don't even have the latest version and is just directing me to the download page which doesn't have the latest version.

Noticed that 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 44461(5553) is available for download for AX1800 ver. 4.6 but not for ver. 1.20.

Could have this been made available via online update on the router itself by mistake?
